Effectively manage all marketing, communication, public relations, branding, online channels and internal communications for the world\'s first modern hospice, a non-profit organisation with £22 million annual turnover.• Lead a team of ten• Secure regular international media coverage to raise awareness of campaigns (recent coverage includes a BBC documentary, a piece in The Times on Assisted Dying, BBC Radio 4 and 5 interviews on palliative care, a broadcast piece on Arts Therapy on NHK News in Japan and a commemorative feature on our founder, Dame Cicely Saunders, on German radio)• Led a \'Fair Pay for Hospices\' campaign securing the support of a number of MPs who raised the issue in a parliamentary debate, lobbied the Department of Health and Social Care and supported an online awareness-raising campaign • Launched a staff intranet to inform and engage a varied workforce - 78% of the workforce accessed this within the first week • Redesigned the Annual Report and Accounts focusing on the stories of real people who have benefited from hospice services to bring to life the facts, figures and achievements and reflecting our philosophy of person-centered care• Devised a marketing campaign to effectively promote our largest fundraising event which saw sponsorship per head grow from £42.50 to £63.54 and increased event attendees to over Effectively managed crisis communications• Devising and managing the annual communications budget of Introduced and embedded a communications strategy which supports organisational objectives and focuses on increasing awareness - two years in and 48% of public surveyed had heard of St Christopher\'s (the highest awareness levels of all local charities and close to some nationals)• Devised and implemented a campaign to commemorate our 50th anniversary securing an online film series with the Independent, BBC London online and broadcast coverage as well as print coverage in The Guardian and The Times
