I am currently leading the Legal Department of Southern Procurement Services Ltd. and its holding company, SCZ Group Inc. These entities provide services to the oil, gas, and mining industries under an Integral Solutions scheme.My role in the corporation includes, among others:Providing legal advice to the Board of Directors, Corporate Management, and the Administrative and Operational Departments, including Major Projects, Procurement, HR, Accounting, Finance, and others.Supporting the drafting of Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Services contracts in the oil, gas, petrochemical, and mining sectors.Leading negotiations with clients, suppliers, financial institutions, and government entities in LATAM, Europe, and Asia.Offering legal support in sales agreements for oil and other commodities.Advising on public regulations relevant to SPS, SCZ Group, and their affiliates.I have gained extensive and productive experience in designing optimal operating scenarios while managing risks and ensuring compliance with legal and tax obligations.Specific Contributions:Legal support in the acquisition of several rig equipment units in Mexico.Legal support in establishing the company in Mexico.Legal support in negotiating and drafting Contract Services for Production under an external financial scheme.Drafting legal clauses for Supply Agreements in oil, gas, and petrochemicals.Negotiating with mixed companies in LATAM for the signing of associative schemes for the provision of services.Drafting a wide range of agreements, including Joint Ventures, MoUs, and Letters of Intention with both public and private clients as well as suppliers.Drafting collateral documentation such as NDAs, Letters of Credit, and Performance Bonds.
