ABOUT ELIZABETH MACFARLAND-MORIN
I started my career as a TV news reporter in Michigan\'s upper peninsula. I spent two years covering news all across the UP before I moved back to my hometown area and took another television reporting gig at WEYI in Flint, MI. After my first year at WEYI I was promoted to morning news anchor and eventually executive producer for NBC25 Today. I spent about 8 years at WEYI and left the newsroom to take on marketing and communications in the non-profit world. For the last 12 years I have worked at Wellspring Lutheran Services on their marketing team. I am currently the brand experience manager and oversee all storytelling, video production, and social media marketing for the organization. I may have left the newsroom, but I have never stopped producing and writing stories. My passion really is people. I love getting to know people and telling their stories. I love the hustle and bustle of video production. I also enjoy public speaking, on camera projects and event planning.
