Delivering an interim corporate strategy for the inspectorate ahead of its independence; leading stakeholder engagement to inform the strategy. • Designing and implementing governance systems to support the inspectorate, including evaluation.• Ensuring provision of high-quality strategic analysis of key evidence from inspection and research, improving the evidence-base for advice to inform policy and practice in education and build capacity in the education system.• Liaising effectively with key partners to ensure that inspection contributes to and influences the research and statistical analysis agenda within the education community.• Engaging with and influencing partners and stakeholders on key strategic issues, brokering and sharing knowledge for the improvement of educational outcomes of learners. • Leading the systematic review of quality frameworks and inspection models ensuring that they are based on sound evidence and tested methodologies. • Leading and managing programmes that will provide intelligence to help the inspectorate to prioritise resources and support the inspectorate to fulfil its strategic priorities. • Influencing the wider strategic environment and the development of national policy by providing strategic analysis, as requested by HM Chief Inspector of Education.
