10+ years leveraging data through Digital Twins to maximize real estate portfolio insight, lead data-driven decisions, and enable real-time IoT asset management for optimized operational efficiency. Elise specializes in Digital Twin process and technology where she has acted as BIM expert and strategist for 500M€ total build cost and 140Ksm of laboratories, hospitals, offices and most recently logistics centers in Europe, Asia and the US. To reduce energy consumption and save OPEX costs throughout the lifecycle of the building, her focus is on incorporating early owner decisions and facilities management functionality into the construction process and monitoring energy consumption and asset status during operations using metadata in Digital Twin models. Working methodically and logically, Elise synthesizes experience from an array of field experts with her own BIM technological skill to develop cutting-edge BIM solutions. Recently at Zalando she conducted Thermal Building simulations Lifecycle Assessments using the BIM model to verify MEP design heating/cooling loads and calculate scope 3 carbon emissions. At TÜV SÜD, she created a beta IFC-based BIM model checker for automated code compliance to ensure building safety during construction and reduce cost risk. Trained as an architect, her background is in facilities services, sustainable design, construction and the application of BIM software technologies. She understands firsthand the advantages BIM brings to all stakeholders when implemented correctly, bringing with her a portfolio of dozens of BIM applications to choose from for a given project. Working often internationally, Elise has created global BIM implementation strategies incorporating business goals of one company across multiple countries. This entails cultural understanding, language skills as well as the ability to interpret key financial and scheduling priorities of the given company and culture into an concrete BIM applications.
