I’m responsible for processing purchase invoices from our external suppliers, our external associates and where relevant their umbrella companies. This involves adding the invoice into our internal system, allocating appropriate cost centres, which I then post to our general ledger to enable us to make a prompt payment. Alongside this I also reconcile the incoming and outgoing financial receipts.Building on my previous Excel skills, Increasingly I’m being given the responsibility of producing a variety of reports including monitoring our internal staff training, as well as our CO2 consumption in order to support annual carbon offsetting.I’ve also began studying for my Level 3 Advanced Diploma with the Association of Accounting Technicians.
