As a Clinical Evidence Data Analyst (Nutrition & Health Claims) at Intertek Assuris, I specialize in evaluating nutrition and health claims through rigorous critical appraisal, systematic reviews, and meta-analyses. My role bridges scientific research and regulatory consulting, ensuring the highest standards of evidence are applied to support product substantiation and regulatory compliance. I bring a strong background in clinical research methodology, data synthesis, and scientific communication. I hold a PhD in Nutrition with a major in Pharmacology and passed a fellowship in Evidence-Based Medicine. My work focuses on clinical nutrition, nutritional epidemiology, and nutrigenomics, particularly in chronic and endocrine disorders including obesity, diabetes, PCOS, and cancer. I’ve led and collaborated on high-impact research projects, contributed to nutritional clinical trials, systematic reviews and meta-analyses, and worked in health claim evaluation for industry. I’ve held a postdoctoral fellowship at McMaster University, taught at the university level, and bring extensive experience as a Dietitian. I’m passionate about translating science into regulatory and public health impact, and I remain active in evidence-based practice, content development, and international collaboration.
