Identify and co-create research priorities with technical and country teams based on existing literature, research best practices, and applicable primary and secondary data. Work with teams to design and manage research project, establish project monitoring, and data collection methods that guides decision-making. Design evaluations that are feasible within the project scope and budget. As the manager, I ensure thought leadership, dissemination, and outreach of findings and policy recommendations to improve program implementation.* PI on a primary health care (PHC) journey mapping study in Madagascar. The study will use mixed methods, including structured literature reviews, secondary data analysis, and iterative formative qualitative methods to map access to reproductive, maternal, newborn, and child health (RMNCH) services and understand what drives clients to seek private, public or traditional care throughout the RMNCH continuum of care.* Use novel, complexity aware research methods to assess and update program design for a poverty alleviation project in Nigeria. Using these methods, the team identified areas necessary for increased support and funding to ensure financial security of program participants.* Perform data quality assurance of primary and secondary sources using statistical methods and data visualization methods. Have trained and mentored program staff in-country and facility staff on these methods and presented the initiatives to USG and government stakeholders.
