I have been a journalist for more than 25 years - working in the national Scottish press, London and for US publications. I am also a media officer, a communication consultant, a university lecturer (Masters Journalism) and launched a social enterprise ContactFamily in Holyrood. I also set up a Forest activity holiday club for underprivileged children - aimed at combating food poverty - and received funding for this.I am a freelance editor and writer working mostly for the Herald, Sunday Post, Sunday Mail, Living Magazine and publications abroad.I am a communication consultant for the technology sector and a PR in the food and beauty industry; specialising in product launches.I have worked with McDonald Hotels, biotech company Vitrex, Royal Scottish Geographical Society and many private businesses to help launch products, open restaurants and promote small companies.I run the beauty and parenting website yummymummybeauty.com - a beauty webmag with mums in mind.(You don\'t have to be one to enjoy it though.)Specialties: PR, communications, brochure and newsletter production, feature writing, workshops.
