ABOUT EKTA DUBEY
I recently completed my MSc in Sport and Exercise Psychology at Sheffield Hallam University, and I’m passionate about supporting people with their mental and emotional wellbeing.I currently volunteer on an Adult Mental Health Ward with NHS RDaSH, where I help patients through therapeutic conversations and calming support. I also work as an SENCO Teaching Assistant, supporting children with Autism, ADHD, and other SEN needs, which has strengthened my patience, communication, and emotional regulation skills.My experience also includes internships in child development and geriatric mental health, giving me a broad understanding of different psychological needs. And as a former national-level hockey player, I’ve seen firsthand how important the mental side of sport reallyI’m excited to continue growing in both mental health and sport psychology, and I’m always open to connecting with people in these fields
