I am currently managing the Shropshire, Telford and Wrekin Adult Social Care Team. I have management responsibility for eight Inspectors and one Regulatory Coordinator.My post involves providing management support in several formats, including- Day-to-day management- Duty management cover and matrix management- Performance monitoring and management- Accessing and organising team training- Decision Review Meetings and enforcement decisions- Quality assurance- Risk management- Project work to improve operational performance, ensure increased staff wellbeing and build on the organisation\'s reputation- Provider engagement- Stakeholder engagement- Gathering, analysing, interpreting and presenting data and suggesting solutions to senior leaders- Supporting sessions facilitated by our Speaker Engagement Team as a guest speaker at stakeholder events representing CQC- Responding to complaints and undertaking investigations- Recruitment- Deputising for my Deputy Director where appropriate- Budgetary oversight in relation to resources across the West Midland ASC directorate.I am a Quality Improvement (Silver) Champion and am the People Lead for the West Midlands ASC directorate.
