ABOUT EDWARD AGUILAR
Hello fellow members here on Linked in, I been wanting to introduce my self for some days now but I had been busy on the hunt for the next career placement. I would like to say my name is Edward, I come from the labor side from offshore drilling to coil tubing, wire line, fracking,cementing, completions, to being laid off and having to start a new profession at times. I am proudly to say I fell into the pipeline as a labor hand for many years as a welder helper, coating hand up to a general foreman to oversee a spread.I now obtain a Nace CIP 1, as a coating inspector.I love what I do. I will continue to further my education in corrosion and coating protections. When I first started sand blasting and coating, I thought it was just about dipping a brush and slapping paint, now I come to understand more of the science behind our coatings and application procedures and guidelines, specs, theres more to applying coating than just dipping and brushing or spraying. One day at a time adding value to our field and stressing the number one line of defense, is in our hands. I don’t claim I know it all but I learn new things everyday in the field from fellow colleagues,specifications and standards. keeping an open mind allows me to obtain very valuable knowledge that can be gained and shared. With that being said,To uphold and maintain integrity is my goal to follow specification and standards codes and guidelines.
