ABOUT EDOARDO VICENDONE

I have over 9 years of experience working in Information Technology and I feel lucky to have found a career that has captured my interest. This passion is driving me on a path that will never stop me to learn and increase my technical knowledge. If you want to make me happy assign me to a new project with a technology I do not know and ask me to work and learn it.I believe that sharing your own knowledge is a key value, that’s why I strongly help new hired people guiding them on their growth to be as fast as possible part of the team so that they can give their contribution. And I encourage them to do the same.In the past 2 years I have been leading a Splunk Project with the aim of having a unique point of control on a critical automotive IT system. Starting from scratch we established the approach, designed scripts to ingest data, defined the architecture and built it step by step. There are now hundreds of KPIs and new ones will be introduced. Thanks to our work we also had the opportunity to present it to a Corporate event; it has been rewarding and exciting. During that project I have achieved the Splunk Architect II Certification.In addition I had the opportunity to do international travel. I have worked in India to enhance Functional and Technical knowledge of our Delivery Center and in France and Brazil, side by side with the Client to solve complex issues to increase their Business. They both have been amazing experiences.I am recognized on developing and delivering complex, fast and reliable solutions and in root cause analysis in challenging IT projects. Clients I worked for include Fortune 500 companies in automotive industry. I found it rewarding to be part of these key projects which are core to my client\'s long term business strategy.Today I started a new journey working in Security field with Splunk Enterprise Security.“No matter how complex is the problem, there is always a solution”
