I work at the intersection of innovation data, emerging technologies, and strategic foresight. At Clarivate, I lead the development of global innovation intelligence frameworks, most notably the Top 100 Global Innovators. I’ve built proprietary models such as the Derwent Strength Index and Technology Maturity Index, used to benchmark over 68 million inventions and assess the dynamics of innovation across sectors and geographies. I lead our boutique consultancy that conducts private research and strategic analysis for governments and multinational executive teams, using these same models and data frameworks. I have held a number of operational leadership roles, giving me a practical grounding in delivery, team management, and commercial execution. That experience continues to inform my approach to strategy: analytical, but always anchored in real-world application. My focus is on clarity: helping organisations understand where innovation is happening, what’s driving it, and what it means for strategy, organization, investment, and competitive positioning.
