Nice to meet you and welcome to my LinkedIn profile! My name is Edina Alix. I recently began my Masters degree at Carnegie Mellon University in Entertainment Industry Management. I graduated Summa Cum Laude from Bridgewater State University with a Communication Studies degree concentrating in public relations and a film studies minor. My journey so far has been a little unorthodox. I have moved around quite a bit with stints spent in Sydney AU, Charlotte, NC, Cape Cod, MA, New York City, and most recently Pittsburgh, PA. These experiences have made me a well rounded professional and expanded my personal perspectives. The two most consistent passions in my life have been my love for the art of public relations and the world of film. I love putting together pitches and campaigns just as much as I love spending time at the cinema and listening to the latest music. I decided when I was thirteen that my career goal is to go into the entertainment sector and that has yet to change! I am very goal oriented. I enjoy collaborating with others and paying attention to small details. I think writing is the best way I can express myself both professionally and personally and my hope is that comes across in my work. I have experience in B2B tech, nonprofit work, entertainment and lifestyle PR.
