Multi Site Donor Centre Manager @Australian Red Cross Lifeblood

Leading a large clinical team of Nurses and Nursing Assistants to help facilitate the collection of much need Plasma, Whole Blood and Platelets. Ensure compliance with all Lifeblood policies, procedures, National Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and regulations governing blood collection; ensuring corrective action is taken when required. Ensure team is audit ready at all times and citations are actioned in a timely manner. Implement appropriate controls to prevent future recurrence of non-compliance. Ensure appropriate servicing and maintenance of donor centre and associated equipment to required standards. Through our service vision, reinforce a culture that delivers the best experience for every donor every time. Proactively monitor and coach team to drive continuous improvement across key service performance indicators (KPIs). Effectively manage the communication and implementation of approved changes to collection processes. Ensure donor complaints are resolved quickly and share learning’s. Uphold the privacy and confidentiality of information provided by donors and Lifeblood Communicate the key business drivers to the donor centre team in a way that is easily understood and relevant. Role model change management ensuring the reason for the change is clearly understood, implement as required and monitor progress. Through regular interaction with donor centre team, foster a safe environment where employees can communicate openly, share ideas and continue to learn. Coach, develop and support employees to foster a culture that delivers improved performance and productivity, employee engagement, collaboration and teamwork. Recruit and induct new team members and oversee the training, on the job coaching and assessment to ensure competence.
