Abbott Furnace Company was established in 1982 as a manufacturing and service company for control panels. In 1986, Abbott Furnace manufactured its first continuous belt furnace for the heat treat industry. Later, Abbott Furnace has expanded into diverse domestic and foreign industries, including furnaces for powdered metal, annealing, brazing, thick film processing, glass to metal seal, and fuel cells.Abbott Furnace is located in the City of St. Marys in Northwestern Pennsylvania. We employ 70+ skilled and salaried employees in a modern square foot facility. Our work force is very stable with an average tenure of 10 years. This stability in our workforce has permitted us to focus on continuous belt furnace technology and service, facilitating the growth of long-term business relationships with our valued customers.
