ABOUT EDWARD GRAY
I graduated the University of Leeds with a 2:1 Degree in Biology (BSc with Hons), throughout my time there I began to focus my area of interest into genetics and oncology. My final year dissertation discussed whether dietary intake could enhance chemo-preventive strategies in the prostate cancer epigenome. My curiosity into the Science and Technology sector was heightened by my experiences studying a science at university. As a result, I knew this is where I wanted my career to progress to in the near future. Although I enjoyed some exposure to working in a lab environment, I knew that my long-term goal for my career was to move into the business-oriented world of science and technology innovation. My first role after university, at Sci-Tech Daresbury has so far given me a great insight into working within this sector. I am looking forward to continue my development while in the position of business growth & support executive.
