I am a mission-driven communicator who finds joy and purpose in work that makes a difference in people’s lives—particularly the vulnerable populations of our society. Having the opportunity to elevate their voices is what gets me up in the morning. I am focused on constructing and executing impactful communications that move people to action and provide timely, meaningful and transparent information. Most of all, it is my goal to help people feel empowered and inspired. My work is a blend of proactive public relations, crisis and issues management, executive messaging, and internal communications. I am currently working in the healthcare industry, where I have more than a decade of communications experience. I have also worked as a communicator in finance, higher education, government affairs, and economic development. I began my career as a print journalist, where I spent several years covering public safety, government and the environment.
