ABOUT ELIZABETH BREEDEN
I build content and brand strategies that shape how people understand, engage with, and invest in their lives. My background sits at the intersection of storytelling, behavior, and everyday experience. I started in fiction, learning how to create emotional connection and invite people into a narrative, then moved into health and prescriptive nonfiction—helping people navigate change and make sense of complex information. Most recently, my work in culinary and lifestyle has focused on how those ideas show up in real life—how people cook, gather, and build identity through what they consume. Across all of this, the throughline has been clear: how to take something complex and package it into something people not only understand, but choose to engage with. Over the past 12+ years, I’ve led publishing campaigns for multiple #1 New York Times bestselling titles, including The King Arthur Baking Company Big Book of Bread and The Last Thing He Told Me, alongside high-impact titles such as The Glucose Goddess Method, 9 Months That Count Forever, Foundations by Nate Berkus, and The River Is Waiting by Wally Lamb—an Oprah’s Book Club pick and New York Times bestseller. I’ve also worked with bestselling and brand-name authors including Jerry Seinfeld, Alex Trebek, Megan Miranda, Nelson DeMille and Hillary Clinton. Currently, I lead content, narrative, and go-to-market strategy at Simon Element (Simon & Schuster), focusing on wellness, lifestyle, and culinary categories. My work centers on clarity, credibility, and resonance—particularly in health-adjacent spaces where trust and behavior change matter most.I’m particularly interested in the future of health and wellness—how content, products, and services can better meet people where they are, reduce friction, and fit more naturally into everyday life.
