ABOUT DYLAN NOACK

As the Reporting Lead, I work with a wide variety of stakeholders to provide timely insights and analysis into BHP’s South Australian Copper Business. Some of my experience and key responsibilities include:(i) Preparing and presenting monthly reporting deliverables (production, earnings, cash flows, unit costs, capital etc.) and associated analysis to senior stakeholders (e.g. Head of Finance, VP Finance, Asset President)(ii) Business Planning and Forecasting coordination and execution, including the consolidation, analysis, review and reporting of plan and forecast Market Guidance (set, monitor, forecast and provide recommendations) and the coordination, preparation, and review of quantitative and qualitative information for use in ASX Releases (Quarterly, HY/FY results)(iv) Integration of ex-OZ Minerals planning, forecasting, and reporting activities into BHP(v) Driving efficiency, standardisation, and greater insight through the use of models, systems and tools.(vi) Lead, coach and mentor reports to build team capability and delivery against performance targets.This involves extensive stakeholder engagement across Site Finance & Ops teams, Finance Business Partners, Business Planning, Accounting, Technology, Treasury, Investor Relations, and the Executive Leadership Team. I also work with two NFP organisations in a governance capacity, including at Board level. This experience over several years has allowed me to contribute my knowledge and experience in finance, internal control and risk and gain a sound understanding of governance requirements/principles. Prior to this, I spent two years with OZ Minerals Ltd where I was responsible for all performance reporting and the coordination of group-wide business planning and forecasting. I also spent six years with PwC’s Assurance practice where I was responsible for managing the delivery of financial statement audit engagements, leading multiple teams across several clients (many of which were ASX Listed). During my time with PwC, I gained exposure to a variety of industry sectors including agriculture, resources, financial services, and retail. I hold a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting) from the University of Adelaide and am a member of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand (CAANZ).
