I\'m the Clinical lead and part owner of Woodborough House dental practice & referral centre. We are a multidisciplinary dental practice with both specialists and general dentists that serve the private dental needs of the Thames Valley and beyond. In particular, we are interested in all aspects of digital dentistry, including guided dental implant surgery, immediate loading of dental implants and provision of teeth in a day.

ABOUT NICK FAHEY
My name is Nick Fahey and I’m a specialist Prosthodontist and Implant Dentistry expert. After many years working in Devonshire Place and Harley Street, I now work solely in Woodborough House, my referral practice in West Berkshire. I am the lead clinician in a team with significant experience in the multidisciplinary approach to patient treatment and care, accepting referrals related to prosthodontics and dental implantology.My areas of professional interest include all aspects of dentistry related to dental implants and fixed and removable prosthodontics. Of particular interest is my involvement in all aspects of digital dentistry - especially using CT Scans in conjunction with virtual implant planning software for computer-guided surgery to allow for simplification of surgical placement of dental implants. More recently, I have also become interested in guided surgical navigation, 3D facial scanning and digital analysis of jaw movement in real time using Modjaw.I am one of the few General Dental Council registered specialists in fixed and removable prosthodontics. I am a member of the ADI, MFDS RCS, MRD RCS, FRACDS and a fellow of the ITI, where I am also a study club director and mentor. I have presided over the London Dental Study Club and was a founding member of the New Zealand Dental Society of London. I have lectured world-wide on topics such as computer guided surgery and virtual implant planning and currently have a book titled ‘Guided Surgery – Making Implant Placement Simpler’ in publication now and available on Amazon.I am the co-founder of the Fitz Fahey Academy, an international faculty of dental educators dedicated to educating and supporting dental professionals throughout the world by providing mentoring and comprehensive, progressive and interdisciplinary teaching with the aim of transforming clinical knowledge and understanding to transform patients’ lives. I will be presenting an education programme for dental implantologists on Guided Surgery in 2023.
