ABOUT STEFFEN DECKER

Dr. Steffen Decker is an internationally recognised specialist in orthodontics, known for his expertise in invisible teeth straightening for both children and adults. With a career spanning three continents, Dr. Decker is respected for combining evidence-based clinical excellence with cutting-edge technologies to deliver personalised, holistic orthodontic care. In 2017, Dr. Decker was honoured as the World No. 1 Provider of Lingual Incognito treatment, recognising his exceptional proficiency in fully hidden braces. Since 2021, he has been consistently ranked among the Top 1% Invisalign “Kids and Teen” providers across Europe, the Middle East, and North Africa. He is also a Key Opinion Leader and international speaker for Angel Aligner, contributing to global orthodontic innovation and education. In 2022, Dr. Decker became the UK’s first and only Kois Recognized Specialist, a distinction awarded by the prestigious Kois Center in Seattle, where he now serves as Scientific Advisor for Orthodontics and Airway. Together with his colleague Dr. Christian Leonhardt, he co-leads an advanced, interdisciplinary orthodontics and airway-focused course at the Kois Center for dentists and specialists worldwide. Dr. Decker’s education and training span Germany, Switzerland, and the United States, where he completed both his dental degree and specialist orthodontic qualifications. His clinical philosophy emphasises early interceptive orthodontic care, often beginning from the age of seven, with the goal of guiding jaw development, reducing the need for extractions, and preventing issues such as dental trauma, teasing, and sleep-disordered breathing. Renowned for his skill in all orthodontic systems, Dr. Decker integrates traditional functional appliances with the most advanced digital and aligner-based solutions, offering tailored treatment plans that are both effective and practical for modern family life. To date, Dr. Decker has successfully treated over 1,300 lingual orthodontic cases and has served as a Clinical Advisor for Western Europe and as a member of the Global Advisory Board for 3M Orthodontics. His depth of experience and patient-centred approach make him one of the world’s leading experts in discreet orthodontic treatment. In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Decker is the Founder and Director of The Orthodontic Specialist Academy, a platform dedicated to training dental professionals in airway-conscious, growth-focused, and technologically advanced orthodontics.
