I am a highly qualified UK-based Senior Lead User Researcher and Human-AI/Chatbot Specialist. For over 13 years, I have led User-Centred Research & Design projects for clients including AO, the Ministry of Defence, Transport Organisations, Defra, the NHS, DfE, DWP, and HMRC. With significant GDS experience, I have worked extensively on digital transformation initiatives. I also have experience in User Research within the Defence sector, focusing on enhancing the safety of Autonomous Vehicles.My expertise extends to Human-AI interactions, underpinned by a PhD on the effects of AI-driven entities on users. I specialise in analysing, measuring, and optimising user experiences with chatbots, humanoids, and embodied conversational agents to enhance usability and user engagement.I have in-depth knowledge of how design, personality, and visual aesthetics shape user perception, behaviour, and attitudes. As AI technologies become more embedded in daily life, understanding their psychological impact is essential, especially in terms of design trends that are heavily influenced by visual aesthetics. My research provides insights on optimising interactions to create meaningful, human-centred AI experiences.Passionate about the evolving landscape of chatbots and humanoids, I am committed to ensuring these technologies serve society effectively. Combining rigorous research with real-world applications, I contribute to developing AI systems that are innovative, intuitive, and empathetic.With a strong foundation in UX, HCI, and User Psychology, I bring a collaborative leadership style and a multidisciplinary approach that ensures my research delivers powerful, actionable insights to build engaging user-centric experiences.Finally, I welcome opportunities to collaborate with individuals or organisations interested in deepening their understanding of Human-AI interactions. My focus is on Embodied AI, including agents, avatars, and humanoids; and how we can improve these interactions and relationships in meaningful and positive ways. Hence, I am open to contributing through podcasts, documentaries, video content, public speaking, and related formats.
