Implementation of the health promotional program, for measuring and promoting the health and wellbeing of our employees, Mental Wellbeing standards, advice on lifestyle related diseases, being an integral part of the site wellbeing team and providing support on wellness initiatives. Advice and guidance to Leadership on specific public health, occupational health, and health care related issues.Providing biannual feedback on Key Performance Indicators that would help in designing site specific health promotional strategies. Advice on changing industry trends on the provision of medical, occupational health and wellbeing services to employees, for policy making, designing and implementation of various programs depending on nature of operations, workplace health risk assessments, controls etc.To diagnose, confirm & manage work related illnesses. Participate in employee return to work examinations (after illness/ injury). Working with LM’s in facilitating employee deployment back to their jobs. Health care (working with HR)- coordinate provision / access to appropriate clinical care for all employees (outpatient, hospitalization, emergency). This may include identifying specific hospitals, doctors based on ease of accessibility, costs etc. Being the 1st point of contact for all medical emergencies (onsite & offsite) and ensuring that the site leadership team is kept informed on progress. Public health emergencies –activation of Covid-19/pandemic flu preparedness and being a part of any other crisis management plans. Providing relevant M & OH updates as required by the Head of M & OH for HR leadership team global reporting needs. Advice on travel health-Data analysis, identifying disease patterns (outpatient, hospitalization) medical costs incurred, and planning intervention programs to provide ROI etc. Be well conversant with the legal requirements of the country/ state and advice management on its implementation.
