ABOUT MUHANAD HATAMLEH

I am an academic and clinician working at the intersection of prosthodontics, maxillofacial rehabilitation, and digital innovation. My research focuses on developing clinically relevant solutions through the integration of advanced biomaterials, digital workflows, and mechanistic modeling. My work addresses key challenges in prosthetic rehabilitation, including durability, esthetics, infection control, and patient access to care. I have led research in antimicrobial nano-enhanced silicone elastomers, digital auricular reconstruction, and interface modeling of prosthetic materials. A central theme of my work is translating clinical problems into measurable, design-driven solutions that can be implemented in practice. I have published in high-impact, peer-reviewed international journals, contributing to both scientific understanding and clinical advancement. My research approach is structured around a continuous cycle: identifying real-world clinical needs, developing and testing solutions, and refining them through evidence and modeling before returning them to clinical application. I am particularly interested in collaborative research, digital health technologies, and advancing patient-specific prosthetic solutions.
