ABOUT KRISHNA REDDY CHITTEDI
Dr. Krishna Reddy Chittedi is an Associate Professor at the School of Economics, University of Hyderabad, Hyderabad, Telangana, India. He has previously served as a faculty at the Central University of Tamil Nadu and IMT Hyderabad. He has also been a visiting faculty at the Central University of Karnataka. He was honored with the Prof. M. J. Manohar Rao Young Economist Award (2015) by the Indian Econometric Society, New Delhi, for his academic excellence and research contributions. He also received the prestigious Prof. K. N. Raj Teacher Fellowship (2016) from the Centre for Development Studies, Kerala, for his contributions to economics. Dr. Reddy has published numerous research papers in top-tier international journals and conference proceedings and has authored three books. He has also presented his research at national and international conferences in India and abroad, including France, Russia, and Turkey. His research papers have more than 2150 citations. He is an Associate Editor for the South Asian Journal of Management and an editorial board member and reviewer for various journals. Dr. Reddy has also significantly contributed to research supervision, successfully guided four PhD and two MPhil scholars and fifty master\'s dissertations. With a strong academic and professional presence, he has delivered more than 200 invited lectures at reputed institutions across India and serves as a subject expert for various public service commissions. Additionally, he is a well-regarded columnist for leading Telugu newspapers and frequently participates in TV debates on contemporary economic and social issues. He is a life member of the Indian Econometric Society, Indian Association for Energy Economics, Telangana Economic Association, International Society for Development and Sustainability (ISDS) and the World Economic Association.
