ABOUT C. GANESHKUMAR

Prof. C. Ganeshkumar is an Associate Professor of Analytics and Operations in the School of Management Studies at the University of Hyderabad, a Central University and Institute of Eminence under the Ministry of Education, Government of India. He holds a Ph.D. and an MBA from Pondicherry Central University and cleared the UGC-NET in Management in 2010. He also has two years of post-doctoral research experience in Supply Chain Management Centre of the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore (IIMB).Prior to his current position, Prof. Ganeshkumar served as an Associate Professor at the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT), New Delhi, a Deemed-to-be-University under the Department of Commerce, Government of India. He also held the role of Assistant Professor at the Indian Institute of Plantation Management Bangalore (IIPMB), an autonomous organization under the Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Government of India, and at VIT University (Deemed to be University), Vellore.Prof. Ganeshkumar has an impressive publication record, with 30 journal articles indexed in ABDC, ABS, Scopus, and Web of Science databases. Additionally, he has presented 15 research papers at various national/international conferences and has organized numerous research methods and data analytics workshops, funded by ATAL-AICTE, ICAR, Ministry of Commerce, and others.He is highly proficient in various analytical softwares, including Spreadsheet, IBM-SPSS, Tableau, Python, Power BI, R, Hadoop, Nvivo and Solver. His research interests include the agri-food value chain, artificial intelligence/blockchain business applications, and sustainable supply chain management. He has successfully secured funded projects from esteemed organizations such as the Tea Board, Spice Board, Ministry of Commerce, Ministry of Corporate Affairs, Government of India, UNDP, IFPRI-USA, and ADB.In addition to his academic and research endeavors, Prof. Ganeshkumar has actively contributed to various administrative roles, including Program Director of the MBA in Business Analytics, Program Director of the MBA in International Business, Institute Exam Coordinator, Head of the PGDM-ABPM Program, NBA Accreditation Coordinator, Warden, and digitization efforts at the B-School. He has also organized industrial visits and coordinated the Analytics Research Centre Initiative.
