ABOUT KARLA MAYORGA

I am a Licensed Clinical Psychologist (PsyD), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), and Qualified Medical Evaluator dedicated to providing compassionate and culturally competent care. Through my bilingual (English/Spanish) telehealth practice in California, I specialize in anxiety, depression, PTSD, domestic violence, grief, relationship challenges, cultural issues, and immigration concerns. Additionally, I conduct evaluations for immigration cases, disability claims, workers\' compensation, and assisted reproductive interventions.Beyond clinical work, I am a professor and clinical supervisor, teaching graduate and doctorate-level psychology students while mentoring the next generation of mental health professionals. My passion lies in fostering critical thinking, ethical practice, and cultural awareness in future therapists.I am also a strong advocate for the LGBTQISA2+ community and equality, providing gender-affirming support letters and emotional support animal (ESA) letters. Additionally, as an author, writer, trainer, and speaker, I use my platform to educate, inspire, and empower individuals and mental health professionals.I am committed to mental health advocacy, education, and professional growth, continuously striving to make a meaningful impact through teaching, clinical practice, and leadership.
