As an IT Material Manager my role is to provide comprehensive knowledge of principles, policies, and practices of systems acquisition and program management, as defined in DoD AFI 63-101/20-101, as well as knowledge of roles and relationships within the DoD and the Air Force. I support the Product Support Manager and Program Manager with contract activities, including identifying, capturing, and tracking requirements and assessing what is within schedule and cost baselines, recommending viable solutions to problems, and pursuing alternative courses of action. I also support Integrated Product Team (IPT) Leadership with senior-level acquisition and program management advice and counsel. Collaborate with a diverse group of functions to review proposals, technical evaluations, and fact-finding efforts and subsequently assist the program lead on contract management. Perform program execution duties, including developing and updating PEO weekly activity reports, corps reports, and production corps program status reports. Conduct research and analyses to define new and improved business process solutions opportunities. Manage the processes of the Product Support Business Case Analysis (PS-BCA) Life Cycle Sustainment Plan (LCSP) and Logistics Health Assessment (LHA). Leverage department/agency policies and procedures for implementing and managing government-furnished equipment (GFE) for program success.
