Currently working as an Assistant Professor at Nitte Institute of Architecture, Mangalore, India. Early Career-Researcher (7+ yrs) with a demonstrated history of working in scientific research at the Department of Architecture and Planning, Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology (VNIT), Nagpur.Strong research professional with a Master’s Degree focused on Sustainable Architecture and presently conducting doctoral research on \"Heat Vulnerability assessment in Indian cities\", integrating the disciplines of urban planning, micro-meteorology, public health, and urban climatology.Multiple research publications in the field of urban heat stress, devising planning interventions for extreme heat, urban policies related to heat waves and application of the local climate zone framework to address the complex issuesof urban climatology.Experience in conducting various capacity building and training programmes under a research project funded by DST-CCP & NDMA, developing training modules and learning materials, writing research papers, keeping track ofcontingencies/consumables, carrying out any other departmental work.
