ABOUT ABHISHEK TIWARI
I am currently working as a Clinical Assistant and Research Coordinator in the Uro-Oncology & Gynae-Oncology department at Apollo Hospital, Hyderabad, since March 2022. My role involves preoperative data collection, accurate documentation, and data entry in Excel and electronic medical records (EMR) while ensuring strict confidentiality and data integrity. I am responsible for preparing Case Report Forms (CRFs), handling ethics and regulatory submissions, and assisting in various oncological surgeries. Additionally, I counsel patients regarding surgical procedures, medications, and post-operative care. I also prepare comprehensive discharge summaries and support physicians in clinical research by collecting, managing, and performing basic data analysis, contributing to high-quality, evidence-based outcomes.In addition to my clinical responsibilities, I have developed a strong foundation in data analysis and healthcare analytics. I have completed a 5-month dedicated Data Analytics course from Hero Vired, where I gained hands-on experience with tools such as SQL, Power BI, Advanced Excel, and Python — equipping me to transition into a Clinical Data Scientist or Healthcare Analyst role.Beyond the hospital, I am deeply passionate about science education and student mentorship. Since 2017, I have been teaching high school students and mentoring aspirants preparing for NEET and EAMCET. I am also the co-founder of Darbis Tuition Classes, where we focus on nurturing young minds, guiding career choices, and developing innovative teaching methodologies.I’m actively seeking opportunities that allow me to bridge my clinical experience with data science skills, contributing to research, real-world evidence generation, and data-driven healthcare solutions.
