I love solving puzzles - transportation and logistics puzzles! How do I combine truck with rail - what about marine or air or pipeline - what\'s the history - what are the rules and the regulatory environment? What is most efficient? The most cost-effective? The most repeatable? What\'s the best way to solve this? What\'s the future look like? Finally, how do I document this, manage risk, share and teach these learnings? Experience is the fact or state of having been affected by or gained knowledge through direct observation or participation. Here are some of mine- I successfully transitioned from roles as a transportation service provider to a customer of transportation services- I provided expert testimony to Transport Canada in response to Ferroequus proposal for open-access rail in Canada. Reviewed, analyzed and compiled information as a successful intervenor team- I discovered I really like leading teams. I get huge satisfaction in mentoring others, helping and guiding them into future successful roles. I\'ve been leading teams for some time and I take pride in being a small piece in an individual\'s personal growth- Customer Relationship Management, asset & fleet management, strategic design and operations execution. Freight rail and truck transportation, transload operations, the LPG sector. I have more than touched all of these.I do work very well in high-stress situations, creating a calmness through strategic communication.
