Manage the Test Engineering team to support the physical testing, measurement and material analysis of bearings and their applications.• Delegate and organize daily requirements for staff to complete testing and analysis items for customers and Applications Engineering team. • Manage the inspection of all parts returned by customers for warranty issues or post test analysis.• Plan testing schedule for all upcoming DVP and analysis projects. • Review, edit and approve all test and analysis reports for submission to engineering and customers. • Participate in technical engineering reviews of testing and analysis results with customers to provide explanation of completed tests and methodology. • Manage and lead implementation and auditing for test lab compliance for ITAF audits.• Collaborate with engineering teams to identify, design and source new testing machines. • Manage contractors for installation of new equipment and building modifications. • Schedule and conduct lab visits and tours for customers, suppliers and colleagues. • Forecast staffing requirements based on upcoming projects and workload. • Conducted performance reviews and set performance goals for the Product Evaluation team.• Prepared job descriptions, reviewed resumes and interviewed candidates for new or existing positions.• Prepare training programs for new engineers and technicians. • Manage all building service purchases and negotiate maintenance and work contracts with suppliers and contractors for all items related to building.
