San Francisco Opera is the second largest opera company in North America and is a formidable performing arts institution that is internationally recognized as one of the top opera companies in the world—heralded for its first-rate productions, roster of international opera stars and excellent orchestra. The War Memorial currently welcomes some patrons annually. Doreen has served on the Executive Committee, Search Committee and co-chaired the Audit and Directors and Officers (D&O) Committee. She currently is a member of the Diversity & Inclusion and Directors & Officers committees. She also served as the Community Council Co-Chair for the highly successful world premiere of the Dream of the Red Chamber opera in September 2016.
