The Art of Fashion Runway Show and Luncheon Host Committee May 2025As a member of the Board of Directors for the San Francisco Opera Guild, I serve as an ambassador and advocate for one of the nation’s premier cultural institutions. In this role, I contribute to the Guild’s mission of supporting San Francisco Opera and providing innovative music education programs that reach more than students annually throughout Northern California.Key Responsibilities:Strategic Leadership: Guide long-term vision and decision-making in alignment with the Guild’s mission, values, and goals.Philanthropic Engagement: Participate in fundraising efforts through personal giving, donor cultivation, and supporting signature events such as Opera Ball and Bravo! Club.Community Engagement: Promote the Guild\'s education initiatives, including Opera à la Carte, Book-to-Bravo, and Voices for Social Justice, to schools and community partners.Governance: Serve on committees and assist in reviewing and implementing organizational policies, financial oversight, and board development.Advocacy: Champion opera and arts education in the Bay Area through outreach, partnerships, and programmatic support.Impact:Our work sustains world-class opera while empowering young people through arts education—ensuring the future of both the art form and its audience.
