As the Information Security Executive for First National Technology Services (FNTS), a managed IT services provider, I’m responsible for the company’s information security program and ensure security, compliance and audit services for FNTS customers. I direct operational security for FNTS data centersAs FNTS CISO, I oversee PCI certification, SOC2 type2, HIPAA, CJIS, IRS1075 and data privacy audits for FNTS. I also help customers with any audit needs. We follow NIST 800-53 and ISO 27001 risk frameworks. I write or approve FNTS policies around governance, risk, compliance and operational security. I work closely with internal and external general counsel in reviewing contracts, addressing security addendums, addressing compliance laws and overall contract reviews and approvals. I report quarterly to our holding company board. In reporting to a board of tenured, industry banking executives. At FNTS, we seek to understand your complex business needs and provide a security-first approach. We become a trusted extension of your team that solves your day to day information security operations needs as well as handle risk, compliance and audit concerns saving you time and money. Showcasing risks to your business is key. I also perform advisory/consulting services as a vCISO. I work on an interim, fractional or contract basis to help securely enable your business.
