ABOUT DONNA CORDES
Donna has extensive experience in team leadership and project management. Her last role at Caterpillar Inc. was resource commitment manager, project manager, and team lead. From 2010 to 2016, she was the lead for a reporting project, and grew her project team of 2 people into an embedded team of 18 members. She was instrumental in developing the governance, roles and responsibilities of the newly formed team and served as a point person for the team\'s strategy. She later developed and implemented the reporting power user strategy. In 2014, she led the project for piloting reporting on HANA. In 2016, she led a project team of 27, formed for the purpose of delivering a series of critical reports to the Corporation. Prior to 2010, Donna worked as a legal assistant in the Securities Section of the Legal Department. She then learned COBOL/JCL and provided development and support for multiple shop floor applications. As a 6 Sigma Green Belt, not only did she provide support but also conducted RCAs and eliminated reoccurring issues. She is a Certified 6 Sigma Black Belt and successfully led 27 projects from 2006 to 2008. Donna is also a Change Master.
