ABOUT DON BRADSHAW
Don Bradshaw teaches full time at Irvine Valley College such courses as Financial Accounting 1A, Managerial Accounting 1B, Business Math 114, Cost Accounting 203, Payroll Accounting and Taxation 205, Individual Income Taxes Federal and State 206, Business Income Taxes Federal and State 207, Auditing: Internal Controls Under Sarbanes-Oxley 275A, Accounting for Business Combinations 210, Intermediate Accounting 202B, and General Accounting 215. He has Associate\'s Degrees in Life Sciences and Physical Sciences from Chaffey Community College, a Bachelor\'s Degree in Business Administration - Emphasis in Accounting from CSUF, and a Master\'s Degree in Business Administration - Emphasis in Accounting from the University of La Verne. He also has a CPA and a CGMA. His first career was in nursing, which he began in the Army. He worked in both public accounting and corporate management for approximately 25 years. Industry experience includes manufacturing, construction, engineering, distribution, and service companies. Areas of expertise include financial and cost accounting, auditing and internal controls, manufacturing quality control (prior certification as ASQ Six Sigma Black Belt - not current), and income taxation. Memberships include the Institute of Management Accountants (formerly chapter president), the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and the California Society of CPA\'s. He also had the privilege of serving on the CSUF Accounting Department Advisory Board. He comes from an unbroken lineage of teachers going back 150 years. His daughter, a CSUF graduate, continues that tradition.
