As a Global Talent Acquisition Specialist I manage full lifecycle recruiting while maintaining strong relations with business leaders, hiring managers, HR business partners, external contacts and candidates. I execute local, national, and global recruiting plans, leveraging traditional sourcing strategies and resources as well as develop new, creative and low-cost recruiting ideas.Duties: Serve as a Talent Acquisition Specialist for The Technology and Commercial Operations Division supporting The United States, England, United Arab Emirates, Amsterdam, and Spain. Identify candidates through multiple sources, including employee referrals, job boards, social networking sites, alumni, internal transfers, networking, etc. Conduct qualifying phone screens with candidates and targeted warm calls with prospects to generate interest in IBM opportunities. Make recommendations regarding next steps with each candidate Develop and maintain relationships with hiring managers and HR business partnersProvide regular updates to hiring managers, HR business partners, Talent Acquisition leaders and other stakeholders as appropriate on pipeline development and progress of candidates Participate in Bi-weekly meetings with hiring managers and Operations Managers to implement plans for sourcing and recruiting strategies, paying particular attention to IBM’s Diversity & Inclusiveness initiatives Participate In weekly Video Teleconference Meetings with The Global Talent Acquisition Team in Rome, London, Poland, Costa Rica, Spain, and the United States to discuss requisitions and strategies to overcome more challenging requisitions. Participate In Global Dual Sourcing and Recruiting for roles that can be performed in two or more countries Manage candidates through the entire interview and hiring process, from assessing candidate qualifications to negotiating offers and managing pre-employment requirements and onboarding
