ABOUT DOMINIC SORIANO

What I do today: As a District Manager at ADP, I work with mid‑market organizations across Vancouver and Portland to solve Payroll, HR, and Compliance challenges, helping leaders reduce risk, improve efficiency, and scale with confidence. I am also able to lend my clients particular expertise in Recruitment, Onboarding, and Retention, given my experience in the staffing world within the Accounting and Finance industry. How I got there: Growing up in Vancouver, Washington, after graduating from WSU-V with a background in Sociology and Business, I set out to build a career that blended strategy, people, and problem‑solving. Before stepping into the professional world, I spent time as a paddleboard instructor, a role that taught me patience, communication, and how much I enjoy helping people try something new. From there, I moved into construction as an Estimator, where I learned precision, project management, and how to deliver under pressure. Those skills became the foundation for everything that came next.I later transitioned into Talent Solutions at Aston Carter, partnering with Accounting and Finance professionals and the companies that needed them. It was the perfect place to sharpen my consultative approach and learn how to create real impact through relationships.Outside of work, you’ll usually find me playing guitar, competing on the pool table, or hanging out with my dog. I’m driven by creativity, connection, and the kind of challenges that push me to grow.
