Since October \'23, I\'ve led the Data Governance Function within Jet2, scaling it up from 1 to 5 FTEs whilst focussing on appointing Data Owners, defining the Data Governance Framework & Strategy, and implementing that strategy.Previously, I led the Data Management Community of Practice that covers Data Strategy, Data Governance, and Data Quality within the Data, Privacy, and Analytics team at Deloitte. I also led Deloitte’s Chief Data Officer (CDO) Programme, that includes surveying CDOs across the world to understand their role, their priorities and challenges year on year, hosting events with UK CDOs to bring our insights to life, and hosting a series of Next Gen Labs to inspire upcoming CDOs.
