Electrical designer support to the EC & I Lead or Engineering Manager with delivery of projects works and is responsible for implementing Engineering Procedures and maintaining standards of technical quality, this includes, carrying out electrical design for 2 nuclear sites to facilitate the decommission of the nuclear plants. Main responsibilities is the design of main power and distribution systems, and associated electrical services such as lighting and emergency lighting system, fire alarm design. This works involved the production of an initial survey report detailing the condition of the existing electrical services to the client. Following this the design will be undertaken including the production of existing strip out drawings, proposed drawings, specification and technical schedules. Also involved co-ordination with the mechanical, structural and architects throughout the project.
