ABOUT DIONYSIA WILLIAMS

Thanks to amazing training and adaptability, I\'ve been able to parlay my triple threat skills into an exciting and challenging freelance career as a Corporate Facilitator, Director, Choreographer, Teacher, and Performer. As a Senior Facilitator at ImprovEdge I engage our clients in customized, heavily researched, and interactive workshops that use the skills from the improv stage to better their talents in topics such as presentation skills, managing tough conversations, and personal brand. As the Director of Talent Development I have the opportunity to also coach internally to make sure every ensemble member is ready to facilitate a consistent and energized day with our clients. As a musical theater actress I have toured across the country and internationally performing in many different Broadway musicals such as The Pajama Game (US tour), Fame (China tour), Grease (Istanbul), A Chorus Line, Cats, Anything Goes, West Side Story, Marvelous Wonderettes, Forbidden Broadway Vol. 1, and Fugitive Songs, to name a few. Once based in NYC and now currently based in Columbus, Ohio I\'m a frequent performer with Short North Stage and CATCO. As a Choreographer I\'ve had the pleasure of working professionally with Columbus Children\'s Theater, CATCO, Short North Stage, The Human Race, and Wright State University on numerous productions such as Chicago, Beauty and the Beast, Shrek, Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, Spring Awakening, Wild Party, The Music Man, and Christmas in Columbus which I also co-wrote and directed. I\'m currently on faculty at BalletMet Dance Academy where I am the head of the Jazz dance program and a choreographer for Performance Ensemble. I also teach occasional private lessons to prepare students interested in auditioning for musical theater college programs. Want to know more? Contact me!
