Ensure accurate and timely recording of all financial transactions. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including balance sheets, P&L, and cash flow statements. Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and tax laws. Manage the reconciliation of all accounting entries, including bank and vendor reconciliations.GST Filing: Manage the timely filing of GST returns (GSTR1, GSTR3B, GSTR9) on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.Reconciliation: Reconcile GST returns with the company’s books to ensure consistency and accuracy, identifying and resolving discrepancies between GST liabilities and input tax credits. Monitor and track GST credits and liabilities for proper adjustment. Calculate and deduct Tax Deducted at Source (TDS) on various payments (e.g, salaries, professional fees, rent, etc.) as per applicable rates. Ensure timely deposit of TDS with the government and filing of TDS returns (Forms 24Q, 26Q, etc.). Reconcile TDS deducted with TDS returns to ensure compliance and avoid penalties.GST Scrutiny: Handle any government audits or inquiries related to GST filings, respond to notices, and provide clarification or additional documentation.ITR Scrutiny: Manage the process of responding to Income Tax Department\'s scrutiny notices, ensuring proper documentation for deductions, income details, and other clarifications required by tax authorities. Coordinate and facilitate the annual external audit process. Ensure timely preparation of financial records and supporting documents required by auditors. Work closely with auditors to resolve queries, address any discrepancies, and ensure a smooth audit process. Finalize financial statements postaudit and make any necessary adjustments. Review and evaluate the company’s internal financial controls (IFC) to ensure they are adequate and effective. Identify any weaknesses in the financial control system and work on improvements.
