Generate purchase orders in line with company MRP system and other requirements. • Issue purchase orders to Head Office, Suppliers and Subsidiaries after approval. • Proactively ensure acknowledgements are correct to the item and date of delivery are in line with on-time delivery targets. • Expediting and moving out items in line with requirements to optimize stock on hand. • Resolve issues relating to the accuracy of deliveries, quality rejects, invoice queries, overdue product lines and production shortages. • Maintain accurate records of purchases made. • Working closely with the relevant stakeholders to ensure that the items purchased are in line with the needs of the company. • Create items on system in line with new items requirements as specified by relevant stakeholders. • Maintenance of items in regard to optimizing stock holding and reorder levels in line with usages and future requirements. • Vendor maintenence and vendor performance metric reports. • Manage item rejects and returns process to suppliers. • Bill of material review and maintenence processes.
