ABOUT DIANE CROMPTON

As a Social Media Strategist, I provide consulting services and leading edge social media solutions to professionals to enable them to keep pace with today’s global marketplace. In my current role, I consult with professionals and teams on how to maintain relevance, engage with customers, build business, find talent, find work and build brand awareness through the use of customized social media tools and products. My interest in technology tools fueled the co-authoring of two books “Seven Days to Online Networking” (JIST 2008) and “Find a Job through Social Networking” (JIST 2010). These practical “how to” books have been well received, with the most recent book voted as one of the top career books by Quintcareers.com. I also enjoy sharing expertise as a frequent contributor to media on this topic and have spoken to a number of professional and academic groups and organizations. My background is diverse and includes work as a consultant for a global HR consulting organization, providing customized coaching and expertise on job search, self-marketing and career management to a broad range of professionals. In addition, I’ve worked as a nationwide recruiter (retained and contingency), an educator, and an independent consultant.
