ABOUT DIANNA HANN

A natural born problem solver and creative leader, I value teamwork, fairness, and humour. I am passionate about working on projects that take big ideas and make them a reality piece by piece. With ten years of professional experience, I have worked across departments holding positions in sales, marketing, issues management and communication, as well as working as a business owner and freelancer for a cumulative four years. I have a proven track record of being able to excel in fast-paced environments and bring my entrepreneurial mindset to any role I take on. Career highlights: Spearheaded the redevelopment of a major communications asset for Canada’s largest single-industry organization. Developed project management systems for teams large and small using Asana, Monday.com, and Wrike. Oversaw a national election campaign that produced more than 1600 pieces of content in six weeks. Managed the second highest growing Twitter account in Canada in 2020. Gaining perseverance and tact from politics, self regulation and humility from business ownership, and a genuine love of words and the stories they can tell from communications, I am eager to take on new challenges that offer opportunities to combine these skills to make an even greater impact. I am currently working towards earning my Project Management Professional (PMP®) designation in 2025 to improve my formal understanding of what it takes to successfully complete a multi-layered project, to be able to continue growing the scope of projects I take on with confidence. In 2024, to deepen my understanding of storytelling from a different angle, I began writing and performing standup comedy in my spare time which remains one of my favourite ways to stretch my creative muscles. I am currently taking courses on fashion design and sketching as my newest creative exploration for 2025.
