Part of the new area south operational excellence support function. I am an operational excellence manager who is responsible for driving continuous improvement in processes by identifying areas of improvement and implementing strategies to optimise processes, reduce waste, and enhance quality. I have a strong understanding of process improvement methodologies such as Lean Six Sigma and Statistical Process Control, as well as excellent communication and leadership skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams. I work to promote continuous improvement, in operational efficiency, collaborating with stakeholders on regional projects that deliver first-class service aligned with business KPIs, enhancing productivity, quality, and sustaining business growth and top-tier performance.Implement and maintain a unified set of operating standards across all depots to promote consistency and excellence in service. Design, implement, and manage comprehensive training programs to upskill employees, enhance performance, and ensure alignment with operational excellence. Perform regular audits and assessments to monitor compliance with operational standards and identify areas for improvement within the area of responsibility. Provide targeted assistance and strategic guidance to underperforming depots, driving improvements in productivity and the quality of services offered. Champion a lean mindset and practices throughout the organisation to reduce waste, optimise processes, and enhance value for customers. Lead and manage projects that directly contribute to the Division’s strategic objectives, ensuring timely and effective execution.Manage HR projects, people strategy, workforce planning, TUPE harmonisation, disciplinary hearings, performance management, capability, investigations and setting employee objectives.

Whilst my position is very diverse and can be a very project driven role I enjoy complexed KPI management, completing concise data to monitor the day to day, week to week revenue and servicing specifications for the South region.A strategic thinker, who enjoys interpreting analytical information, whilst adhering to all legislative requirements. Having completed a Masters Degree at Solent University Southampton in Personnel Management. I have also recently passed the level 5 Intermediate Diploma in HR and am an Associate member of CIPD. I also hold the International Managers CPC and ISOH Managing Safely qualifications. A fundamental reason for continuing to learn is because I am a progressive manager, passionate about all things new and believe that all employees are an asset if given the opportunity.
