ABOUT DIANA REAICH

Leading with energy, insight and positivity to deliver strong results and build high performing teams. I lead a hugely talented team of trade policy and market access experts who grow, maintain and secure access to markets for NZ food and fibre exports across global markets. Prior to joining MPI I had more than 20 years experience working in foreign and trade policy, and corporate management at the Ministry of the Foreign Affairs and Trade including most recently as New Zealand’s Ambassador to Belgium, Luxembourg, Romania, Bulgaria and Moldova. While in Belgium the team secured the EU FTA, Horizon Europe and Europol agreements as well as safeguarding covid vaccine supplies to NZ. Prior to that I was Divisional Manager People Capability overseeing large organisational change processes. I was also a negotiator in several FTA negotiations including Singapore, Hong Kong and the Pacific (PACER and PACER Plus) and served in the legal, Pacific and trade negotiations divisions.
